One more Indonesian film that will go international. The story of martial arts series Wiro Sableng by Bastian Tito will be cultivated into the form of films by Fox International Productions and Lifelike Pictures (Indonesia). The film will be titled Wirosableng 212 (212 Warrior).
Flp President Tomas Jegeus, producer Sheila Timothy and executive producer Michael Werner announced the agreement on Thursday, February 9 in Jakarta.
Wiro Sableng is a fictional character and the main character of Indonesian silat stories based on Silat Wiro Sableng's book The Deadly Dragon Capacity of Geni 212 by the late Bastian Tito. This martial arts series is the longest and longest silat series in Indonesia, consisting of 185 titles and made over a span of 39 years (1967-2006). Bastian Tito is the father of actor Vino G. Bastian. And coincidentally, indeed Vino is appointed as the main actor in this film.
